5th Inter School Team Nepal Art Contest and 4th Inter School Team Nepal Fancy Dress Contest

On the occasion of International Youth Day, SAMUHA NEPAL (TEAM NEPAL), organized 5th Inter School Team Nepal Art Contest and 4th Inter School Team Nepal Fancy Dress Contest at St. Xavier’s School, Jawalakhel. In the Art Contest, Category A, Monisha Choudhary of Galaxy Public School, Anjani Kedia of Modern Indian School, Lakha Gelu of Shree Mangal Dvip Boarding School won the first, second and third positions respectively. Similarly, Adesh Maharjan of Modern Indian School and Ishan Shrestha of V.S. Niketan School together won the fourth position whereas Shruti Nayak of The Chandbagh School won the fifth position. In Category B, Pasang Duje Tamang of Swati Sadan Higher Secondary School, Swikriti Subba of Galaxy Public School, Anushan Rijal of The Chandbagh School, Bharat Khadka of S.A.B. Public School and Priyanshu Thapa Magar of The Chandbagh School won the first, second, third, fourth and fifth positions respectively. The arts of the students were also displayed during the programme.

In Fancy Dress Contest, two students, Sadichhya Kapali from Arniko Boarding School and Shravya Shrestha from Imperial World School were chosen as Little Photogenic and awarded the prizes. Angel Samrat Bhatta of Vidyodaya English Secondary School bagged the First position. Aadavaya Neupane of Bhrigu Batika Montessori, Ishan Gautam of Bhrigu Batika Montessori, Krishika Shrestha of Bhrigu Batika Montessori and Rajasi Pathak of Himalaya International Model School stood Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth positions respectively.

In Art Contest, altogether 129 students from 40 different schools participated in Category A and 111 students from 33 different schools participated in Category B. Similarly, 73 students from 19 different schools participated in Fancy Dress Contest. Gauri Malla, a veteran actress of Nepali movie, was the Chief Guest of the event. The first, second and third winners of the Art Contest as well as the Fancy Dress Contest were awarded trophies, certificates and gift hampers respectively. The fourth and fifth students got gift hampers along with certificates. All the participants as well as the participating schools got the certificates.
