On the occasion of International Youth Day, SAMUHA NEPAL (TEAM NEPAL), organized Inter School Team Nepal Literary Contest at St. Xavier’s School, Jawalakhel, on youth issues. The event was categorized into English and Nepali with the topic Change is the sign of growth in English category and Digopan Hamro Chunauti; Hamro Bhavishya in Nepali category. The main sponsor of the event Sujal Café & Sofa Restauant, Tripureshwor and co-sponsors duo Asian Thai Foods Pvt. Ltd. and Bottlers’ Nepal Ltd. were also felicitated in the event. In English Category, Pranav Pratik from Arniko Boarding School, Bhotebahal, Chandani Rajbhandari from Arniko Higher Secondary School, Lalitpur, Pratiksha Sharma from Budhanilkantha School and Rukmani Kharel from Gyanodaya Bal Batika Higher Secondary School bagged first, second, third and consolation respectively. Similarly, in Nepali Category, Palistha Manandhar from Gyanodaya Bal Batika Higher Secondary School, Suchana Ghimire from Adarsha Yog Hari Higher Secondary School, Parbigya Manandhar from Holy Garden Boarding High School and Nikhil Bhatta from The Chandbagh School succeeded with first, second, third and consolation. Altogether 119 students from 63 different schools within the valley participated in the event. Til Bikram Nembang (Bairagi Kainla) the Chancellor of Nepal Academy was the Chief Guest of the event. The first, second and third winners of the contest were awarded trophies, certificates and gift hampers along with a cash prize of Rs. 5,000, Rs.2,000 and Rs. 1,000 respectively in each category. The members of the jury were also felicitated along with other well wishers of the organization.
